Right now, I’m drinking smooth matcha blueberry tea from the Aoi Tea Company and chewing on delicious Morinaga brand milk caramels (whose tiny squares are all individually wrapped, so they must be fancy). I received these treats and more in a home delivery the other day, in a small, smartly-designed Japan Box filled with items from the new global foods purveyor Try The World.
Sure, it’s no biggie receiving food at home these days. But for hardcore travelers, the journey is not really over when you get home; sometimes it’s nice to have the world come to your door, and to keep making new discoveries. I think I know Japan well, but I certainly wasn’t familiar with some of products from the Try The World samples dedicated to that land.
