PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A natural deodorant startup that appeared on ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’ is growing. With a new product about to hit the shelves, just how well is the Philadelphia-based company is doing nearly one year later?

Since their appearance on ‘Shark Tank’ 11 months ago, PiperWai cofounders Sarah Ribner and Jess Edelstien say their business has grown 5,000 percent.

“We are now selling in GNC, Whole Foods, we have 150 lifestyle boutiques nationwide,” said Ribner. “We’re sold in over 80 countries through our website and we’re selling on Amazon.”
