Wednesday, October 18th is your chance to help. A gift made to Columbia Entrepreneurship directly supports student and alumni founders across campus and indeed, across the globe.
Check out our Founder Stories and read about the journeys these visionaries are taking in education, real estate, green technology, and more.
Help Columbia innovators solve the problems of tomorrow, today. Every gift to Columbia Entrepreneurship directly supports founders and startups from all Columbia schools and organizations.
On Giving Day we’re directing all gifts toward three areas that directly benefit Columbia innovators and founders.
Fund the Founders
It takes more than ideas and grit to get a startup off the ground. Each year Columbia Entrepreneurship distributes more than $100,000 in non-dilutive grants to founders through the StartupColumbia Challenge and The Undergraduate Innovation Grants. Your donations will help fledgling startups build prototypes, protect their intellectual property, pay for startup legal expenses, and to take their products to market.
Columbia Startup Lab
Each year The Lab is corporate headquarters for more than 40 Columbia Founded startups. Your gifts support subsidized rent, free programming, workshops, mentorship, and critical networking events.
Columbia Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with student clubs, alumni programs, and entrepreneurship programs, hosts the Columbia Venture Competition and the day-long StartupColumbia Confernece. More than 75% of the funds raised to underwrite the event are redistributed to Columbia food-founders to cater the event and to founders competing in business plan competitions.
