Columbia-founded Kinnos has been selected as a finalist for the COVID-19 Response Challenge by the Transit Innovation Partnership and partner agencies Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority), New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit) and New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE).
The founders of Kinnos created their innovative disinfectant solution in response to Columbia Engineering’s Ebola design challenge in 2014 and continue to bring crucial solutions that the world needs to fight disease outbreaks.
