Columbia Entrepreneurship Design Studio

Design For Sustainable Development

OPEN TO ALL

RSVP HERE

Wednesday, April 25th

3:00pm to 5:00pm
The Design Studio (Riverside Church Room 430)

Design thinking is a process we use at the Design Studio to help students become unstuck in the entrepreneurial ventures they are launching, or for gaining clarity on their personal trajectory. We also believe that Design Thinking has tremendous potential in helping to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and reduce extreme poverty around the world.

In this workshop we will focus on brainstorming, process mapping and stakeholder analysis and use design to start thinking creatively about developing potential solutions to poverty problems. This workshop will be useful for students who have summer field placements in developing countries or who have job placements abroad after graduation, or who are just interested in the intersection of design thinking and sustainable development.

Come prepared to work on development challenges relating to your upcoming field placement/internship.

If you have questions, please reach out to us at designstudio@columbia.edu.
