Know where we were, where we are, and where we’re going.
The EdTech Design Challenge, a 7-month initiative, kicked off in October of 2017 with a week-long design sprint in the Columbia Entrepreneurship Design Studio. Through design-thinking workshops, visits to EdTech startups, and an EdTech forum, the Columbia and Brazilian cohorts come together, form teams, and generate ideas for EdTech solutions. Over the course of the 2017-18 academic year, the multinational teams will develop their EdTech ideas into viable solutions.
The teams get a chance to pitch their proposed solutions to a panel of VCs, policy makers, and educators in Brazil, with the winners receiving $25,000 in funding.
