Entrepreneurship has emerged as a central educational theme within Columbia Engineering. Columbia Engineering Entrepreneurship promotes a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through a set of six interconnected initiatives that include a minor in entrepreneurship, co-curricular initiatives like business plan competitions and student-led clubs, community partnerships with the Mayor’s office and the Harlem Small Business Development Center, mentorship for students and young alumni, incubator space for faculty entrepreneurs and a residential program for undergraduate Engineering students with a passion for entrepreneurship.
