Founded by Muso Zhe Fan ‘16GSAPP, NeXT SCENE is a media and service agency for global immersive experiences and technologies. Immersive storytelling as a design methodology has originated from Psychology, then adopted in Game Design and nowadays widely expanded to the entertainment industry such as Theme Park, Theatre, Escape rooms. NeXT SCENE is determined to facilitate this emerging trend by providing media coverage and agency services to help immersive experiences develop and enter into the Chinese market. NeXT SCENE has been invited to major industry conferences and established its credibility in the US and Chinese immersive creators community.
Before founding NeXT SCENE, Muso held a variety of experiences that fit into his current venture. He worked as an Architect and Urban Designer at ATKINS for large-scale real estate development in China, developed on cutting edge immersive technologies for Google and McKinsey, founded the US branch of Lotus Lee Drama Studio and Lotus Lee Foundation. As a Broadway insider, he invested in Hadestown, which won 8 Tony Awards including 2019 Best Musical. He earned a Master of Science degree from the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University and an MBA from Smartly.
