Chris is Senior Director for Entrepreneurship in the University Office of Alumni and Development. In this role, he helps to harness the business expertise, experience and talent in the alumni community for the benefit of young Columbia entrepreneurs.
Mr. McGarry comes to Columbia Entrepreneurship from three years at Columbia Engineering where as a major gift officer he helped to connect SEAS alumni with entrepreneurship programming and young Columbia entrepreneurs.
Prior to Columbia Engineering, Mr. McGarry enjoyed a 20-year career as a technology advertising and marketing professional working with many of the world’s biggest technology brands including Oracle, Cisco, Borland, Symantec and Seagate.
