DESCRIPTION:The Columbia Innovation & Design Club\, a student-led organization at Columbia Business School\, is organizing the inaugural Columbia Business Design Challenge. This competition will : \n– introduce students and other participants to some of the most innovative companies in the country\n– facilitate a robust learning experience by emphasizing the principles of human-centered design and design thinking\n– foment fresh ideas in areas important to the future of work and business\n– gain real-world\, hands-on experience tackling some of the most salient issues facing society today \nThe Columbia Business Design Challenge is open to cross-disciplinary teams to facilitate diversity of thought\, experience\, and solutions.
