DESCRIPTION:On September 12th\, SIPA’s Entrepreneurship & Policy Initiative is hosting an exciting event – “The Rise of the Rest: Entrepreneurship Across America” at Low Memorial Library. In this keynote discussion\, Steve Case\, Chairman and CEO of Revolution\, and Co-Founder of AOL\, will discuss his efforts to support entrepreneurship and technology in America through his “Rise of the Rest” initiative. Joining Mr. Case will be Secretary Jacob J. Lew\, former U.S. Treasury Secretary and a visiting professor at SIPA. The discussion will be moderated by Dean Merit E. Janow. \nThis event is co-sponsored by SIPA’s Entrepreneurship and Policy Initiative\, Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs\, and Columbia Entrepreneurship Innovation and Design.
