Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a world-leading venture capital firm located in Silicon Valley, just announced that they are now accepting applications for the 2014 KPCB Engineering and Product Fellows Program and we’d like to share this opportunity with you.
KPCB Fellows Program Website
The KPCB Fellows Program offers top U.S. college and graduate students a chance to work inside innovative Silicon Valley startups. The three-month summer program is focused on engineering. A new year-long program is focused on product management.
The goal of the Fellows Program is for students to gain significant experience working on some of the most unique and challenging engineering and product problems, and to develop new relationships that are meaningful to their careers.
Over the course of a summer, KPCB Engineering Fellows will be employed at a KPCB portfolio company, where they can develop their technical skills and be mentored by an executive within the company. Participants in the new Product Fellows Program will get the chance to spend a full year working at a Valley startup.
Fellows will also be invited to attend both private events held by KPCB and others hosted by portfolio companies, where they can meet other talented engineering and design students, network with luminaries in their respective fields, and explore the San Francisco Bay Area.
To ensure that Fellows have the best possible experience during the summer, the program will accept only a limited number of top applicants.
The application period for the summer 2014 KPCB Engineering Fellows Program and year long Product Fellows Program opened on October 3, 2013. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm PDT on October 31, 2013.
