By raising the voices of Columbia founders and innovators for social justice, StartupColumbia Festival 2019 celebrated founders who face down the insurmountable and working with the world, for the world. These founders are helping refugees become founders, they’re mitigating mass incarceration – they’re starting up and stepping up to disrupt the comfortable and comfort the disrupted.

We announced the winners of the $250,000 Columbia Venture Competition and celebrated the memory of “Coach” Bill Campbell (‘62CC, ‘64TC) by awarding the Coaching Columbia Award. We also named the Columbia University Entrepreneurs of the Year.
