This Week in Entrepreneurship – Feb 3-10, 2020

Open Studio Hours at the Design Studio (Feb 4)Do you have an idea and want to get personal design thinking feedback from the Columbia Entrepreneurship Design Studio? During Studio Hours, every Tuesday from 4-7pm, teams or individuals are welcome to use the studio space for working independently on their entrepreneurial projects or sign up for an appointment to receive one-on-one feedback with one of our designers.

Design Your Future (Application Deadline, Feb 5)Design Your Future is for students who are nearing the end of their studies and preparing to launch out into the world. The goal of this 3-session program is to help students to better navigate your career and life choices in the face of uncertainty.

Design Fellows (Deadline, Feb 5): Students who have participated in Design Studio programming and have a desire to deepen their understanding of and experience using human-centered design should apply to be considered for the Columbia Entrepreneurship Design Fellows Program.

GEC Inaugural Symposium (Feb 10 deadline, Feb 29 event)The Graduate Entrepreneurship Council (GEC) will host its inaugural Symposium, sponsored by WeWork, Techstars, Mintz Levin, Wolf & Company, P.C., which brings together the top venture capitalists and the brightest entrepreneurs from Columbia, Harvard, MIT, Northwestern, and UPenn. Only 25 will be selected from each school, so apply today!

Fireside Chat: How to Start a Biotech Startup (Feb 10): CORE is hosting a lunchtime fireside chat for undergraduates with Y Combinator partner Jared Friedman, Visiting Partner Dr. Uri Lopatin, and YC alum Shara Ticku of C16 Biosciences.
