Steady is a platform and community dedicated to reducing stigma around addiction recovery, mental health, and the many paths people take toward healing. We believe recovery should be more visible, more celebrated, and more accessible, not just for those directly impacted by substance use, but also for the family members, friends, colleagues, and communities who support them.
At its core, Steady helps people stay connected to the practices, relationships, and routines that support their wellbeing. Through our mobile app, users can track and celebrate meaningful activities such as recovery meetings, therapy sessions, exercise, meditation, journaling, and other positive habits. By making progress visible, Steady aims to provide encouragement, accountability, and a sense of momentum on what can often be a challenging journey.
In addition to our technology platform, Steady hosts events and educational programming designed to foster connection and conversation. From alcohol-free social gatherings and community meetups to our virtual weekly Steady Stories series, we create spaces where people can share experiences, learn from one another, and challenge outdated assumptions about addiction and recovery. Some of these conversations focus directly on substance use and recovery, while others explore broader themes of resilience, personal growth, mental health, and wellbeing.
What makes Steady unique is its inclusive approach. Our community includes people in recovery, those supporting a loved one, individuals who are sober-curious, and anyone who wants to help normalize conversations about healing and reduce the stigma that prevents people from seeking support. We believe that everyone benefits when healthier choices, personal growth, and human connection are celebrated.
By combining technology, storytelling, and community, Steady is working to create a future where recovery is seen not as something to hide, but as something to celebrate.
