Startups whose products have both commercial and defense applications will be presenting. Examples of defense applications for AI include cybersecurity, geospatial analytics, safety and disaster relief, and predictive maintenance and supply.

Background
The Joint AI Center (JAIC) is tasked with accelerating the delivery of AI-enabled capabilities, scaling the Department-wide impact of AI, and synchronizing DoD AI activities to expand Joint Force advantages. The DoD projects the JAIC’s budget will grow from $70mm this year, to $400mm in annual funding.
Lieutenant General Jack Shanahan, the Director of the JAIC, will deliver opening remarks and lead a panel that will pose questions to the selected companies.
