Learn about upcoming Tamer Fund for Social Ventures deadlines and the application process, and network with other social and environmental venture teams. You will also hear from portfolio members Rachel Barnard, ’11GSAPP, founder, Young New YorkersJustin Garrett Moore, ’04GSAPP, advisor, Made in Brownsville; and Manal Kahi, ’15SIPA, co-founder, Eat Offbeat, as they share their ventures’ missions and experiences working with the center.

The Tamer Fund for Social Ventures provides seed grants of up to $25,000 to nonprofit, for-profit, and hybrid early-stage social and environmental ventures. Funding is made available to around seven ventures each year.

To be eligible, ventures must be led by Columbia University students, alumni, faculty or researchers, or be advised and have significant involvement by Columbia University faculty or researchers.
