Columbia Startup Lab Response to COVID-19, FAQ

At the Columbia Startup Lab (CSL), the health and safety of our founders is our top priority. As we continue to navigate the situation with COVID-19, we are mindful of state and government policy, university guidelines, and public health recommendations.

As you know things can change quickly, so please refer to this page for up-to-date information as we continue to adapt.

Is CSL currently in-person or virtual?

The CSL is currently open to its cohort, with co-working space available in person. All CSL programming is made available virtually – i.e. office hours, workshops, problem-solution sessions, virtual coffee dates, etc.

The co-working space has been modified to support the health and safety of the cohort, maintaining all necessary social-distancing, cleaning, and PPE guidelines.

CSL requires its members to be vaccinated (exemptions are evaluated according to Columbia standards). Any unvaccinated or partly vaccinated guests of the CSL space MUST wear a mask. Vaccinated CSL members may wear a mask if they are more comfortable but are not required to do so in our space.
