The Health Tech Assembly (HTA) is a collaboration between four disciplines of graduate education at Columbia University formed to foster innovation in healthcare. The leadership of HTA represents the medical, engineering, business, and social work schools at Columbia – recognizing the importance of these four fields in the advancement of healthcare.

We aim to create an environment where nascent ideas can be evaluated for their real world applicability (clinicians and scientists), feasibility (engineers), and market potential (entrepreneurs) simultaneously. We want to encourage the development and refinement of early ideas and provide information on concrete steps towards turning ideas into products and companies. The event will feature a presentation by Blueprint Health, a start-up accelerator program with a large network of mentors in the healthcare space. A networking session will follow.
