Justin Ifill’s passion for event planning started as a Columbia College student. During his first summer on campus, he worked for Columbia’s New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) as the Social Programs Coordinator. His work there laid the foundation for what would become Ifill Events post-graduation in 2006. The company officially became Ifill Events, LLC in 2009.
Today, Ifill Events continues to grow and have a place in the market. The company provides event planning and production services to private individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations. In 2013, Ifill Events grew to include wedding planning.
Justin Ifill, true to his New York City roots, continues to live in Queens, New York. As a Columbia College student, he was the recipient of the prestigious John Kluge Scholarship as well as the Amsterdam Scholarship. As an alumni, Justin serves as the President Emeritus of Columbia College Young Alumni, is a member of the Columbia College Alumni Association and the Events Chair for the Black Alumni Council. He is also on the board and executive committee of The Columbia University Club of New York and serves as co-chair of the Young Alumni Committee and Programming Committee.
