Leah Chung, SIPA (Alum)

Leah Chung is a social designer who works at the intersection of design and public policy. She has a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she focused on social impact projects ranging from developing medical devices for low-income countries, to founding the RISD Global Initiative, RISD’s first organization to foster a culture of discourse and action around global issues. Previously, Leah worked at the U.S. Agency for International Development, integrating user-centered design principles to a Congressionally mandated program called “localworks”. She is currently pursuing an MPA focusing on urban policy.
