Are you an entrepreneurial Columbia student?
Is there a specific challenge or a problem you are passionate about solving?
Do you want to develop practical approaches that will lead to sustainable solutions?
The Design Your Venture program will work with a small number of highly motivated teams to tackle a problem they are passionate about solving, using design. Over the course of the semester, teams will dive into each phase of the design process together and receive one-on-one coaching from the Design Team.
Throughout the program you will:
* Interview and research real users and stakeholders in the community.
* Design an innovative solution for your challenge.
* Create a low-resolution prototype for your idea.
This program is a deep dive into creating a venture based on user-feedback and testing so it will be particularly useful for students applying for any of the entrepreneurship fund challenges in their respective schools. You will be joining an impressive community as a number of teams who have gone through this program have received investment, gone on to win the Columbia Venture Competition and earned seats in the Columbia Start-Up Lab.

Accepted Applicants Notified: September 27th, by 5:30pm
DYV is a 3-week program held at the Design Studio.
Program Dates:
October 3rd: 2pm-4pm
October 10th: 2pm-4pm
October 17th: 2pm-4pm
