In Spring 2011, Elliot Koss ‘14BUS had a problem. The independent film distribution company he worked at sold DVDs and licensed movies to Netflix, iTunes, and Amazon among others – but when someone asked him where to actually buy a movie, he couldn’t always remember the best place because each contract covered different films. He looked at the sites that tried to aggregate movies, but often they had incorrect information, limited sources, or no independent films. They also ignored discovery, preventing lesser-known but good films from being found. After months of brainstorming, he began building Entertainment Hound to discover movies and TV shows that you love and to highlight where, and for how much, you can stream, download, rent, or own them.
Entertainment Hound will be launching their private beta in Winter 2013, and they are currently recruiting beta testers. Please visit their website for more information.
