Anna Houseman, CBS (Alum)

Before CBS, Anna taught kindergarten and fourth grade at KIPP New Jersey in Newark, NJ and fifth grade math at Success Academics in Brooklyn. She served as grade-level Assessment Coordinators and the regional Assessment Director at KIPP NJ, where she led her teams in using academic data to drive instruction and close the achievement gap. Last year, she interned on the Clinton Foundation’s early education team, where she helped drive the business strategy for scaling literacy initiatives nationwide. This past summer, she participated in the Danaher Summer Internship Program and worked on a project a Pall Corporation on digital intelligence and e-commerce content optimization. She is excited to spend her second year at CBS as Co-Chair of the Social Enterprise Club, Co-Chair of the Student Leadership and Ethics Board, and (most exciting!) a Design Fellow! After business school, she hopes to focus on social impact initiatives in the education sector. Anna is originally from Atlanta, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelors in math and a Masters in Public Administration.
