Joe Glazer `15CBS is a machine learning expert and with decades of experience building software for web and mobile applications, as well as firmware for connected devices utilizing low energy bluetooth. During his time at business school, he decided to put his expertise to good use, and founded Stop-Light.
StopLight is a Bluetooth connected smartlighter that enables users to measure and manage their smoking habit. It works by tracking how many cigarettes a user smokes by recording when the lighter is used. It then automatically sends this information to a complementary smartphone application, which gives the user a visualization of their “smoking profile” or baseline consumption level. Then Stop-Light will compute a time-related plan for quitting the habit and cutting costs.
