Wordseye

Bob Coyne `15CC and Daniel Bauer ’16CC founded WordsEye in 2013 with the purpose of making online visual expression as easy as typing a text message. Until now, only 3D graphic artists had the ability to create almost anything they imagine — Bob and Daniel wanted to change this.

WordsEye is a web application that lets anybody create 3D scenes simply by describing them. The simplicity of editing the language that creates scenes makes it possible for users on Facebook or Twitter to riff on or respond to Wordseye posts with scenes of their own — this “visual banter” produces a viral effect that will quickly build WordsEye’s user base. When it come down to it, you can think of WordsEye as “where Twitter meets Instagram.”

WordsEye won the Grand Prize at the 2013 New York State Business Plan Competition, and was named one of the 15 most innovative products at Demo Mobile 2013. WordsEye plans to broaden its beta Summer 2015. Pre-register for Wordseye at www.wordseye.com.
