Workhorse is a mobile marketplace connecting college athletes with brands, local businesses, and fans for marketing opportunities.
Founded by Jake Klores ‘21CC, Workhorse is a marketplace connecting college athletes with brands, local businesses, and fans for marketing opportunities. In the past, college athletes have been strictly prohibited from accepting any form of compensation related to their name, image, or likeness (NIL). Soon, student athletes will finally be permitted to monetize their NIL and get paid for a variety of opportunities like social media posts, in-person events, autographs, and more.
As a lifelong athlete and former Columbia University basketball player, Klores and the Workhorse team have long felt passionate about college athletes deserving the right to take advantage of their brand and platform. Workhorse is built to democratize the opportunities in the space, giving all student athletes the ability to maximize their earning potential while ensuring they are complying with NCAA rules and never putting their eligibility at risk.
