In the time it takes to ascend Princess Tower, Jason Fan, 29, explains BrainCeek, an experiential program for students that simulates investment-banking jobs.
“When you were in college, did you know what the workplace would be like? Each year hundreds of thousands of students go into the workplace with no idea what their job actually is, and corporations spend billions finding talent that will stay. We’re here to solve that. Through simulations, students can come in and experience a job. For the first five to ten minutes, we share some background, then for the rest of the day, they’re working. Throughout, students are able to better understand what the job is like and whether it’s right for them. Corporations are able to find the best talent and see which students are a fit for them.”
